The Crown Matting Pro-Tekt Runner, model PBR1848BK, is a 4 inch by 60 foot rolled mat designed for facility maintenance applications where slip resistance and surface protection are needed. Its 1/8 inch thick vinyl foam construction provides a cushioned feel underfoot while helping to reduce wear on floors in high-traffic areas. The surface features a pebble texture that aids in friction, contributing to safer footing in environments where moisture or light spills may be present. This runner is sold in a black color and comes as a single, continuous length suitable for corridors, workstations, or entryways where a longer mat length can be beneficial.
The product is positioned as a cost-effective solution for floor protection and basic slip resistance. The vinyl foam composition is chosen to balance durability with a lighter weight, which can simplify installation and replacement in long run applications. Practically, users should consider how the pebble-surfaced exterior interacts with the specific traffic patterns and cleaning routines in their facility, and ensure the mat’s thickness and width align with doorway clearances and tread paths.
Compatibility and maintenance considerations: this roll-out mat is specified as 4" wide and 60' long with a thickness of 1/8", packaged as an individual length. For best results, match the material’s cleaning approach to vinyl surfaces and inspect seams or edges in high-use corridors to prevent trip hazards. Keeping the mat clean and free of embedded debris will help preserve its slip-resistant characteristics over time.
