The M+A Matting 8351037160 Step Well Sanitizing Mat combines an integrated sanitizing well with a secondary dry/wipe surface to help minimize slip hazards after shoe sanitation. The mat features a 2' x 3' well that houses an abrasive insert and hold-aligned liquid sanitizer, followed by a 3' x 5' carpeted area designed to remove excess moisture from footwear as you walk across. This setup supports a two-step process: shoes are first treated in the well, where the insert helps dislodge dirt and debris so the sanitizer can reach the full sole surface, then guests dry or wipe their feet on the carpeted section before stepping into clean areas. Each mat includes one insert, with additional inserts available in packs of four, enabling easy replacement and continued sanitation performance. The well capacity is approximately 84 ounces (2.5 L) of sanitizing solution, and the insert acts as a splash guard to help contain fluid within the well during use. The mat is designed to be compatible with a broad range of sanitizing and disinfecting solutions, with best performance reported when used with quaternary or hydrogen peroxide-based formulas. Proper dilution and use are advised per the installation instructions.
