The Ergo Advantage A10-B Mini Side Female Black Edging is a compact edging product designed to manage cable and perimeter layouts in facility maintenance environments. It features a 1-inch thick profile at its highest point and is constructed from 100% recycled PVC, aligning with sustainability goals while delivering a lightweight, durable edging option. The design includes patented ergonomic domes in its texture to help with visual delineation and provide a tactile cue along walkways. The unit is Class 1 fire resistant, contributing to built-in safety considerations for commercial spaces. Its installation is streamlined by a tiles-click-together mechanism, enabling quick assembly with minimal tools and disruption to adjacent flooring or surfaces.
This product is offered in a matte black color and is specified for dry usage, with a side-female locking configuration that aids in secure junctions along run lines. The edging is customizable in color, allowing for branding or facility color-coding schemes, while also being recyclable. A noted consideration is that relief cuts may be required for cord management at certain junctions or tight radii, which can help accommodate power cords or data lines along the edge without compromising the neat appearance.
The A10-B is sold per piece (package size: Each) and includes a 20-year warranty, signaling long-term support from the manufacturer. It is appropriate for perimeter edging in walkways, corridors, and work areas where a low-profile, easily installed edging solution is beneficial, especially in dry indoor environments. When planning installation, assess the available floor plane for the click-together tiles approach and determine whether the side female connection will meet the desired join configuration for your layout.
