The Crown Matting WP 0046BK Wonder-Pro entrance mat is a plush olefin mat designed to help protect interior floors by reducing the amount of water and fine dust tracked into a building. Offered in black and sized at 4 feet by 6 feet with a 7/16 inch thickness, this mat is intended for use as an entryway wiper that participates in contaminant control at the point of entry. The Wonder-Pro line is described as a classic plush mat with a vinyl moisture-barrier backing, which supports drainage and helps prevent moisture from reaching underlying flooring.
This particular configuration emphasizes liquid and fine dirt retention, with the product noting a performance claim of retaining more liquid and fine dirt than standard products in its category. While the exact construction details aren’t listed in the provided data, the combination of plush olefin fibers and a backing designed to resist moisture suggests an emphasis on both appearance and functional performance in high-traffic entrances.
For installation and use, the mat’s 4' x 6' footprint is suitable for entryways and doorway transitions where a larger, continuous mat is desired to capture debris and moisture from foot traffic. As with any mat of this type, proper maintenance—regular cleaning or washing of the mat—will help maintain performance and hygiene in the entry area. The packaging indicates a single mat per unit, matching the listed size and thickness, which supports straightforward inventory planning and replacement.
