The Crown Matting WP 0023CR Wonder-Pro 2'x3' Castellan Red Entrance Matting is a plush olefin mat designed to help protect interior flooring and reduce the amount of debris entering a facility. The Wonder-Pro line is described as a classic plush mat with a vinyl backing moisture barrier, intended to trap moisture and fine dust at entry points while maintaining a welcoming appearance. The Castellan Red color and compact 2-foot by 3-foot footprint make it suitable for use in entryways, corridors, or small matting areas where a discreet, color-consistent appearance is desired.
Construction details indicate a plush olefin construction with a moisture-barrier vinyl backing, which helps resist moisture transfer to the subfloor and supports extended mat life in areas with foot traffic. In this model, the mat is specified to retain a notable portion of tracked liquid and fine dirt relative to standard products, with a claimed performance advantage toward liquid and fine particulate retention. The 7/16-inch thickness contributes to a low-profile installation that can fit under doors or within recessed entry holds without creating a tripping hazard, while still offering a comfortable surface for pedestrians stepping onto the mat.
Practical use considerations include placing this mat at primary entry points or transitional zones where moisture and dust control are priorities. The 2x3 size is appropriate for doorways with limited clearance, and the vinyl moisture barrier backing helps safeguard underlying floor finishes. As with any matting, maintenance typically involves regular vacuuming and periodic washing per manufacturer guidance to sustain appearance and performance over time. This product is identified with the Crown Matting brand and carries the manufacturer part number CROWP 0023CR to ensure correct replacement or reorder alignment.
