The Crown Matting Needle-Rib 4'x60' gray entrance mat is an economical ribbed-pattern mat designed for light-traffic entrances. Its primary role is to act as a scraper and wiper, helping to remove dirt at the point of entry while retaining moisture to prevent excess moisture from entering the interior space. This supports better floor protection and reduced track-in of contaminants in low- to moderate-traffic areas.
The mat features a unilateral ribbed pattern on a vinyl backing, which helps trap moisture and contributes to floor protection by reducing slip hazards associated with wet floors. The gray color offers a neutral, professional appearance suitable for many entryways and facility interiors. The 4-foot width and 60-foot length provide a long, continuous mat run, while a thickness of 5/16 inch offers a compact profile suitable for standard mat channels or doorways without adding excessive floor clearance.
Designed for economical use, Needle-Rib is appropriate for areas with light traffic where straightforward dirt scraping and moisture control are priorities. It is important to verify compatibility with existing entryway configurations, as well as the availability of proper matting support surfaces and edge treatments to ensure a continuous, safe walking surface. The product is specified as a 4' x 60' installation with a gray color and 5/16 inch thickness and ships as a single mat per package, aligned with typical facility maintenance stocking practices.
