The Crown Matting GS 0046BK Rely-On Olefin Entrance Mat is an economical wiper mat designed to help reduce indoor contamination by capturing moisture and fine dust at entry points. This 4' x 6' black mat provides a compact solution for small commercial locations needing an effective first line of defense against tracked-in debris. The Olefin fiber construction is chosen for affordable performance in high-traffic areas, while the vinyl backing acts as a moisture barrier to help protect floors from liquid intrusion.
A key characteristic of this mat is its water-holding capability, rated to retain up to 1 gallon of moisture per square yard. This feature supports longer intervals between mat changes in busy doorways by minimizing the amount of water and particulates that reach interior flooring. The mat’s simple, color-matched styling helps it blend with a variety of décor schemes, making it suitable for a range of reception, storefront, or corridor applications where a low-profile, economical entry mat is desired.
Practical considerations for buyers include its 3/8-inch thickness, which keeps door clearances in mind and maintains reasonable compatibility with standard entry thresholds. The product is offered in a single size (4' x 6'), with a black color option, and is sold as an individual unit. For installation and maintenance, routine cleaning to remove collected debris will help sustain its appearance and performance in high-traffic entrances.
