The Crown Matting CNR0036CH Chevron Entrance Mat is a scraper/wiper mat designed to reduce tracked-in dirt and moisture at interior entry points. Its distinctive chevron pattern provides an aggressive surface that helps lift debris from footwear while its layout supports moisture removal, contributing to cleaner floors and reduced maintenance in high-traffic areas.
The mat features a raised Berber-style surface that enhances its dirt-scraping and moisture-removal capabilities. This construction is intended to balance effective removal of contaminants with a relatively low-profile form, suitable for standard entry thresholds. The unit is sized at 3 feet wide by 60 feet long, with a thickness of 5/16 inch, and is offered in Charcoal, making it a versatile aesthetic choice for a variety of interiors while maintaining visibility of tracked-in grime.
Ideal applications include entranceways and vestibules with frequent foot traffic where dirt and moisture control is a priority. The mat is provided in an individual package and is suitable for long-run installations that require roll-out, continuous coverage, or replacement of existing mats. When considering use, confirm compatible matting systems with door clearance and threshold widths to ensure proper fitting and drainage of moisture through the matting’s surface. Regular inspection for wear and edge integrity will help sustain performance in demanding environments.
