The Crown Matting CN 0023SB Chevron entrance mat is a scraper/wiper mat designed to help keep indoor floors cleaner by capturing dirt and moisture at the entry. Its chevron-patterned, raised berber style surface works to remove debris from shoes while retaining moisture, contributing to drier, safer floors in high-traffic entryways.
The mat is constructed with a steel blue color and comes in a 2' x 3' size with a thickness of 5/16 inch, suitable for standard doorway opens. It is sold as a single mat (package size: Each) under the Crown Matting brand, and its design has positioned it as a long-standing industry standard for many facilities seeking a reliable scraping and wiping surface at thresholds.
When selecting this mat, consider the entryway dimensions and the level of foot traffic to ensure an effective fit and performance. The 2' x 3' footprint provides a compact yet functional covering for many doorway openings, while the raised berber-like pattern promotes dirt removal and moisture management as part of routine entryway maintenance. Maintenance typically involves regular cleaning to preserve the pattern’s effectiveness in trapping particles and moisture before they spread further into a facility.
