The Crown Matting HVR0036OB Sani-Tred mat is designed for wet environments with heavy barefoot traffic, such as showers, pools, and spa areas. Its Open grid construction uses nonporous extruded PVC sections to create a drainage-friendly surface that helps minimize standing water and reduces the likelihood of slips in damp conditions. This matting is intended for indoor use with outdoor versatility, supporting safer foot traffic in wet zones while contributing to more hygienic floor surfaces by discouraging the growth of common fungi and bacteria linked to moisture buildup.
The distinctive feature of this mat is its open grid, which permits rapid water drainage and air circulation, aiding drying times after exposure to moisture. The Ocean Blue color provides a visible, resilient option that can blend with a variety of facility interiors and outdoor areas. Sized at 3 feet by 40 feet with a thickness of 13/32 inch, the mat is configured for common matting applications where a long, continuous run is required to cover wet floor surfaces. Each package contains a single mat roll, making it suitable for large-area installations or replacement within existing matting setups.
When planning use, consider high-traffic wet zones where barefoot entry is frequent, and ensure proper surface preparation for secure placement. The mat’s material choice and open-grid design support ease of cleaning and drainage, though routine maintenance should follow the facility’s cleaning protocol and the manufacturer’s recommendations for PVC products. Compatibility-wise, this Crown Matting solution is intended for environments that benefit from moisture management and hygienic considerations in wet areas.
