The Crown Matting CD L312TX Spark-Safe 3'x12' Black Anti-Fatigue Matting is designed to support workers who stand for extended periods in welding and other high-heat environments. This mat combines anti-fatigue foam with a surface engineered to resist sparks and hot metal shards, helping reduce fatigue while minimizing the risk of ignition from small sparks. The result is a safer, more comfortable standing surface for weld bays, fabrication shops, and similar facilities where sparks are a regular consideration.
The surface employs a spark resistant rubber formulation intended to repel sparks and hot metals, which helps limit surface burn marks and scuffing while maintaining slip resistance under typical workshop conditions. The mat’s 1/2-inch thickness balances cushioning with stability, providing a supportive feel without creating excessive height changes at doorways or workstation transitions. Its black color and 3-foot by 12-foot dimensions offer a practical, long-running coverage option for primary work zones, with a packaging size listed as Each for straightforward inventory and maintenance planning.
This Crown Matting product is categorized for facility maintenance use and is suitable for environments where standing tasks occur alongside potential exposure to sparks. When selecting this mat, confirm compatibility with existing floor finishes and edge transitions to ensure a seamless surface and reduce trip hazards. Regular cleaning and inspection are recommended to maintain slip resistance and cushion performance over time.
