Reece Safety TT38PRPLONG PURPLE Steel Shackle safety padlock keyed differently long

The Reece Safety TT38PRPLONG is a compact, keyed-different safety padlock designed for general facility maintenance and lockout/tagout applications. It features a durable nylon body with a non-conductive lock housing and a chromed steel shackle for added strength. The lock is sized for small to medium hasps, with a 38 mm wide by 44 mm high body and a 6.4 mm shackle diameter, providing a balance of light weight and dependable operation in restricted spaces. Each lock is issued with a unique key, and the keys are stamped with the corresponding key number to simplify identification and management in multi-lockout scenarios. The product supports engraving if you need added labeling for asset or location tracking.

Keying to differ ensures that each lock operates only with its own key, which is crucial for multiple-user lockout configurations where distinct access is required. The shackle clearance of 76 mm accommodates typical hasps and padlock mounting points encountered in industrial and facility settings. The color option in purple aids visual management and helps distinguish different circuits, procedures, or safety zones within a workplace. The manufacturer notes standard safety/owner labeling on both sides, with an option for engraving to customize for your site, enhancing traceability and compliance in regulated environments.

This padlock is packaged individually and is suitable for use in applications where non-conductive housing is advantageous, such as electrical safety procedures or zones where metal contact must be minimized. Verify compatibility with your hasp dimensions and ensure each lock receives a dedicated key to maintain effective lockout practices.
