The Reece Safety RLS104 Lockout Sign is a compact, ready-made reminder to lock out equipment before starting work. Sized at 10 x 14 inches, this sign is printed directly onto 1 mm rigid PVC, offering a durable, rigid face suitable for wall mounting or other visible placements in maintenance areas. The message clearly instructs: CAUTION LOCKOUT OUT FOR SAFETY, reinforcing the critical step of lockout procedures to reduce the risk of unexpected energization during servicing or repair work. Its rigid construction and pre-drilled corner holes support straightforward installation in environments that require quick, dependable signaling.
Constructed from 1 mm rigid PVC, the sign maintains legibility and form in typical facility maintenance settings. The RA safety sign size designation corresponds to its standard 10 x 14 inch dimension, ensuring consistent display with other facility signage. The package quantity is listed as Each, making it suitable for individual placements at workstations, near lockout devices, or at electrical panels where lockout procedures are performed. While the product data does not specify additional certifications or materials beyond the stated PVC construction, the sign’s rigid PVC material generally provides impact resistance and durability appropriate for wall mounting in maintenance and industrial areas.
Potential use cases include posting near energy-control points where workers are reminded to lock out equipment prior to service, or in safety stations where visible, concise messaging supports compliance with lockout/tagout practices. When ordering, verify the installation needs (screw or fastener compatibility with pre-drilled corners) and ensure the sign size aligns with the intended mounting surface. This sign is offered under the Reece Safety brand, with the manufacturer part number RLS104 for ordering consistency.
