The ELEC-KIT-01 Lockout Kit for Electricians from Reece Safety brings together essential electrical lockout components in a single, convenient package. Designed to help electrical teams control energy sources quickly and safely, this kit consolidates various lockout devices, hasps, tags, and a medium lockout pouch, all neatly organized for rapid access when outages or maintenance tasks arise. The assembled contents support lockout practices for multiple circuit types and voltages, enabling consistent adherence to established safety procedures on site.
The kit’s components include two nylon safety padlocks, several circuit breaker lockout devices in single-pole and double-pole configurations, corresponding cleats for securing devices, and durable danger-not-operate tags. By housing everything in a dedicated LOCKBAG01 medium pouch, the kit facilitates transport, storage, and quick deployment, reducing the likelihood of missing or misplaced lockout items during critical work windows. While the data does not specify material grades or certifications, the combination is presented as a practical, all-in-one solution for electricians who routinely perform lockout/tagout tasks on electrical equipment.
Typical use cases include servicing electrical panels, performing maintenance on line-side equipment, and implementing energy-control procedures for electrical systems in industrial or facility environments. The assortment covers common lockout devices used for CB09, CB10, CB08, and CB01 circuit breakers, along with supporting hardware and protective tagging. The package is noted as containing 12 pieces in total, with each kit intended to be used as a self-contained, portable lockout solution for crews, apprentices, and facilities teams who require organized access to essential lockout tools.
