The Liberty Safety 1922 Durawear Deluxe Butterfly are knee pads designed to protect knees during general purpose and maintenance tasks. They feature non-marking plastic knee caps and hard caps paired with a soft 600D cloth pathing, creating a durable, weather- and abrasion-resistant barrier for knee articulations in rugged work environments.
Construction emphasizes a slip-resistant design with ridges to help prevent slips on slick surfaces, and a double hook-and-loop closure system ensures a secure, adjustable fit. The color combination is black with white knee caps, aligning with a low-profile, professional appearance while offering visibility where needed on the job.
These knee pads are intended for paired use and are packaged as a pair, with a case quantity of 20 pairs. They are suitable for general-purpose and maintenance applications where knee protection is beneficial, such as kneeling tasks on hard floors or uneven substrates. The exact sizing and compatibility details are not provided in the data, so users should verify fit on their own with the adjustable straps and closures. Routine maintenance would involve inspecting the straps and soft pathing for wear and replacing components if degraded to maintain protective performance.
When selecting knee protection, consider the level of kneeling duration, surface conditions, and the necessity for a non-marking option to protect floors. While these pads emphasize durability and fit, the lack of specified standards or materials in the record means users should assess suitability against their internal PPE requirements and facility policies.
