The BBP Z*0315*1476*W is a 3.15 inch by 1476 foot wax thermal ribbon supplied in a case configuration with 24 rolls per case. This CSO (Coated Side Out) ribbon is designed for thermal transfer printing, where a heated print head melts the ribbon onto the label or paper stock to create durable, scannable images for non-archival needs. The CSO construction means the ink is oriented toward the outside of the roll, which affects how the ribbon is fed through the printer—unroll from the bottom and feed underneath the print head. This placement influences consistency of print quality and ease of loading across compatible printers.
The wax composition provides a balanced performance profile suitable for standard labeling tasks, combining reasonable resistance to smudging and a clean transfer for typical barcode and shipping labels. The product is positioned for environments requiring reliable, cost-effective printing media in bulk, with 24 rolls per case supporting higher-quantity reuse and less frequent reordering. The 1-inch core is compatible with a wide range of core sizes and printer configurations common in warehousing, retail, and distribution settings, though specific printer compatibility should be confirmed against the printer’s supported ribbon types and CSO requirements.
When selecting this ribbon, ensure your printer supports wax ribbons and CSO winding for best results. Verify label stock compatibility and printer model recommendations from the manufacturer, and consider maintenance and loading procedures to minimize printer downtime. This product is categorized under Office Supplies and is packaged as a case containing 24 rolls, aligning with typical bulk purchasing practices for ongoing labeling needs.
