Sharpie SAN35549 Permanent Paint Marker, Medium Bullet Tip, Black

The Sharpie SAN35549 Permanent Paint Marker provides a versatile, oil-based option for marking on a wide range of surfaces where visibility and permanence are required. Designed for both light and dark substrates, this black marker uses opaque paint that adheres to metal, pottery, wood, rubber, glass, plastic, stone, and more. The ink is quick-drying and formulated to resist water, fading, and abrasion, helping your marks stay legible in challenging environments without smearing during subsequent handling or finishing steps. The formulation is xylene-free, aligning with safer-use expectations in spaces sensitive to solvent odors and exposure.

Constructed for practical, everyday use, this mid-bullet-tip marker delivers a balanced line width suitable for labeling, marking components, and coordinating projects where legibility on varied textures matters. The black paint provides high-contrast results on many colors and finishes, aiding identification and traceability across inventory, tooling, and assembly lines. As an artist-quality option within Sharpie’s line, it is positioned for applications that require more durable marks than standard permanent markers while maintaining ease of application and quick drying times for efficient workflow.

Compatible with a broad set of commonly encountered materials and surfaces found in office, workshop, and fabrication environments, this marker is sold as a single unit. When using on porous or textured surfaces, allow adequate drying time to avoid smudging, and test on a small area if color or texture could impact adhesion. Regular cap replacement and proper storage help preserve ink flow and marker performance between uses.
