The CP2215X120 Corner Boards are lightweight cardboard edge protectors designed to reinforce the corners, tops, and bottoms of boxes and other container assemblies. Used along container edges, these 2" x 2" x 15" boards help distribute weight and create a horizontal protective layer, which can reduce edge damage during handling, stacking, and transport.
Made from cardboard, the corner boards function as internal supports that can help stabilize loads within stretch-wrapped or strapped shipments. They may enable reduced reliance on additional protective strapping in some cases by providing immediate edge protection and a basic shelving-like support structure across the top and bottom surfaces of a container. When used inside containers, they can act as corner posts to maintain shape and alignment during transit.
Practical applications include reinforcing the corners of small-to-medium cartons and boxed goods that are transported or stored in stacks. The boards ship in skid-pack quantities, with 5,580 boards per skid, making them suitable for high-volume packaging operations. This packaging approach supports efficient palletized loading and restocking, while ensuring consistent edge protection across multiple shipments.
Compatibility considerations include the boards’ dimensions (2" x 2" x 15") and their cardboard construction, which informs their strength relative to load size and external impact. They are intended for use as edge protection within standard packaging workflows, and should be compatible with typical carton formats and palletized packaging setups. Maintain note: no additional specifications such as coatings, certifications, or material compositions beyond the cardboard construct are provided.
