The Better Brush 175148 Microfiber Dust Mop Heads are designed to replace traditional cotton dust mop heads with a washable, durable microfiber option. Measuring 48 inches by 5 inches, this mop head is built for efficient large-area cleaning and easy laundering to maintain performance over time. The microfiber construction supports repeated wash cycles, with documentation noting laundering up to 100 times, which can help reduce replacement costs and downtime in busy facilities.
The design includes sewn-in tufts to reinforce durability and a keyhole style canvas backing that facilitates straightforward attachment to compatible frames and handles. For best results, wash the mop head in a mesh bag to protect the fibers and prolong the life of the head. This product is available as a complete kit with frame and handle or can be ordered as the head alone, with the frame and handle separate. A convenient alternative for facilities looking to transition away from traditional cotton dust mop heads, it supports standard dusting and wet mop routines when used with compatible equipment.
Practical considerations include ensuring compatibility with your existing frame and handle, as sizing is specified at 48" x 5" and packaging lists the unit as an individual item with 12 per case. Regular maintenance through proper washing helps maintain microfiber performance and dust pickup efficiency, contributing to consistent cleaning results in janitorial workflows.
