Vestil TG-800-F-H-108-96 PVC Vinyl Strip Door is a flexible barrier designed to help control temperature, dust, and noise between spaces while maintaining clear visibility. This full overlap header-mount strip door is sized 108 inches wide by 96 inches high, and uses clear vinyl strips that provide visual access without compromising safety. The fire-resistant vinyl construction is self-extinguishing, contributing to safer operations in environments where ignition sources may be present. The smooth surface of the strips supports easy entry and exit for personnel and equipment, supporting efficient workflow in busy loading docks, manufacturing lines, or warehouse entrances.
Vinyl strip doors like this model are valued for their simple, low-maintenance design and their potential to reduce energy consumption by minimizing drafts when doors are closed or partially open. They are described as suitable for applications where temperature control and dust or noise reduction are beneficial, with the added benefit of UV resistance in sunlight when used at loading docks or external doorways. This particular door ships pre-assembled and ready for installation, though installation hardware is not included. Custom sizes and materials are available from the factory if your site requires adjustments to fit specific doorways or environmental conditions.
For practical use, consider the mounting style and overlap: this unit uses a header-mount, full overlap configuration, which provides a continuous barrier when fully engaged and helps maintain a stable seal against temperature and contaminants. The packaging specification indicates each door is sold individually, so plan ordering accordingly for multi-door openings. Maintain the assembly by inspecting strip flexibility and the integrity of the mounting hardware once installed, especially in high-traffic areas or frequent forklift activity.
