Vestil TG-600-S-H-120-144 PVC Vinyl Strip Door is a flexible barrier designed to control temperature, dust, and noise in industrial and commercial settings. This strip door uses a clear vinyl strip design that maintains visual visibility while creating a physical separation between spaces, contributing to energy efficiency and cleanliness. The material is described as fire resistant and self-extinguishing, with a softer PVC compound in low-temperature regions to maintain pliability in harsh environments.
The door is mounted with a header-style installation and features a standard overlap configuration, facilitating a simple, compact path for passage. The smooth surface of the vinyl strips supports easy entry and exit, while the clear strips provide visual access to the adjacent area, aiding safety and workflow. The design is marketed as a low-cost, low-maintenance solution that ships pre-assembled, reducing on-site labor requirements; note that installation hardware is not included.
This product is sized for a 120-inch by 144-inch opening with an overlap construction, making it suitable for wide doorways where a flexible, quick-seal barrier is beneficial, such as loading docks, cold storage, and areas requiring dust and draft control. For sizing and installation specifics, verify the header mounting method and overlap style to ensure compatibility with your doorway and frame. When considering maintenance and replacement, plan for inspection of strip wear and periodic cleaning to preserve clarity and pliability.
