The Vestil TG-1600-S-H-192-120 PVC vinyl strip door is designed to provide a flexible, low-cost barrier that helps control temperature, dust, and noise at doorways and loading areas. This standard overlap header mount configuration spans 192 inches wide by 120 inches high and uses transparent vinyl strips to maintain visibility while permitting easy pedestrian and equipment access. The material is described as fire resistant and self-extinguishing, with a design that deters UV exposure when used in sunny, exterior locations, and a softer PVC compound for low-temperature applications, aiming to remain pliable in colder environments.
Constructed with a smooth vinyl surface, the door strips are intended to support straightforward entry and exit, with the practical benefit of reducing heating and cooling costs by imitating a barrier that minimizes air drafts. The standard overlap header mount suggests a typical installation over an entry with an overlapping panel arrangement, and the product is shipped pre-assembled for installation convenience, though mounting hardware is not included. The description emphasizes visual clarity combined with safety, enabling workers to see through the door while preserving a barrier against unwanted airflow, dust, and fumes.
Typical use cases include doorways, dock entries, and interior openings where maintaining controlled environments is important without sacrificing accessibility. When selecting this door, verify that your opening aligns with the 192 in. by 120 in. footprint and note that mounting hardware is required separately. As a pre-assembled unit, assembly time is minimized, but confirm compatibility with your frame and mounting surface prior to install to ensure a proper seal and smooth operation.
