The Vestil TG-1200-S-H-72-192 PVC Vinyl Strip Door is designed to act as a flexible barrier that helps control temperature, dust, and noise between adjacent spaces. This 72 inch by 192 inch door uses clear vinyl strips mounted on a standard overlap header, offering visibility while maintaining a physical barrier in busy environments. The vinyl construction is self-extinguishing, contributing to site safety considerations in case of incidental exposure to heat or flame.
Its low-temperature performance and pliable PVC compound ensure the strips remain negotiable with foot traffic in cool or cold settings, and the smooth surface supports easy passage for personnel and equipment. The combination of clear visibility and barrier function supports maintaining cleanliness and reducing drafts without sacrificing access, which can be important near loading docks, production areas, and service corridors. Installation hardware is not included, so responsible maintenance planning should account for appropriate mounting components compatible with header-style, standard overlap configurations.
Practically, this door is shipped as a ready-to-install unit (pre-assembled) in the specified size, suitable for standard door openings with header mounting and standard overlap. When sizing and fit are critical, verify opening dimensions, header compatibility, and any site-specific requirements for edge protection or seal performance. Custom door sizes and materials are mentioned as available from the factory, providing potential options if your application requires adjustments to height, width, or strip material. Proper maintenance involves periodic inspection of strip clarity and fastener integrity to preserve visibility and barrier effectiveness.
