The Vestil OH-HD Steel Heavy Duty Coil Chain with Hanger is designed to deter theft or misplacement of dock-area wheel chocks by providing a secure, visible tether. This 15-foot coil chain, crafted from steel and finished in silver for high visibility, attaches to its hanger and is secured to the dock wall. A cold shut connection links the chain to the chock, offering a simple, durable means to keep essential wheel chocks close at hand while reducing loss in active loading environments.
The chain measures 15 feet in length with a 3/16-inch thickness, delivering a robust balance of strength and flexibility for typical dock configurations. The compact package size is listed as Each, aligning with standard on-site stocking and easy reusability across multiple bays or stations. The product identity centers on steel construction and clear visibility, supporting quick recognition and access during shift changes or busy periods.
Practical use involves mounting the included hanger to a dock wall and looping the chain to a wheel chock via the cold shut connection. This setup is appropriate for facilities that need a straightforward, repeatable method to secure wheel chocks within reach while minimizing misplacement. When selecting this chain-and-hanger system, confirm the dock layout accommodates a 15-foot chain and verify the 3/16-inch thickness is suitable for the weight and type of chocks used in your operation.
