The Vestil D-350-15 Nylon (Vinyl) Dock Seal is designed to create an airtight seal between the loading dock and a trailer, helping to conserve energy and protect freight from weather elements. This unit features 36 oz. nylon-reinforced vinyl facings, which offer enhanced tear resistance compared to other materials with similar weight. The ends are chemically sealed to prevent moisture infiltration, and the assembly is mounted on a durable wolmanized wood backing. A full-height air escape tunnel is incorporated to reduce pressure buildup when a trailer makes contact. The dock seal is constructed as a three-piece system with 12" high sides and a face width of 9-1/2" at the wall and 12" at the face, designed for through-the-wall installation with the included kit. The recommended compression is up to 5" to maintain effective sealing while accommodating trailer variations.
