The Vestil PE-2078 Edge-O-Dock leveler is a heavy-duty dock equipment solution designed to bridge the gap between your dock face and the trailer bed, allowing for efficient loading and unloading. This unit is a mechanical/hydraulic edge-mounted leveler that permanently attaches to the face of the dock, eliminating the need for a recessed installation in concrete. It is specified with a 20,000 lb capacity and is configured for a service range above the dock, facilitating stable operation as trailers back in and depart. The system options described include manual hydraulic and electric hydraulic actuation, with appropriate components such as a hand pump and hydraulic lines or a motor and control package, depending on the selected setup. When the trailer backs away, the lip retracts automatically behind the bumper face, helping to maintain alignment and reduce curb drag at the dock edge. The unit is supplied with 2" x 8" x 18" bumpers and mounting hardware to assist with a secure installation.
