The Blue Giant BG200V-40-10 Adjustable Head Curtain Dock Seal is designed for loading docks where full trailer access is not required but a tight, energy-efficient seal is essential. Its 9' wide by 10' high framing accommodates standard dock openings while the 10" projection helps bridge the gap between the trailer and the storefront, reducing drafts and debris intrusion during cargo handling.
Construction features include a 40 oz vinyl base fabric paired with a water-resistant wraparound design and vapor barrier to help minimize moisture intrusion. The unit incorporates condensation drains and compression release holes to manage moisture and maintain proper curtain tension. A 24" adjustable drop curtain provides flexibility for varying dock heights, and the assembly includes galvanized mounting hardware for durable, long-term installation. The 99% memory foam component contributes to a resilient seal that compresses consistently against trailer walls without excessive wear on contact surfaces.
Typical applications include facilities seeking a practical seal solution when full trailer ingress isn’t required, such as during intermittent loading or inspection phases. When considering installation, note the unit requires assembly and is specified in standard dock dimensions (9' x 10') with a 10" projection. This seal is intended for use with standard dock frames and should be compatible with compatible Blue Giant mounting configurations; refer to installation guidelines for exact hardware and mounting clearances. Package presentation is listed as unit per piece.
