Rubbermaid Commercial RCP295600GY Deskside Plastic Wastebasket, Rectangular, 7 gal, Gray

The Rubbermaid Commercial Deskside Plastic Wastebasket is a compact, rectangular waste receptacle designed for under-desk use in busy workspaces. With a 7-gallon capacity, it provides a practical balance between size and containment for typical desk-side trash while preserving floor space in crowded areas. Its all-plastic construction resists chipping, rusting, and denting, supporting reliable performance in everyday janitorial tasks. The design includes rolled rims to add structural strength and improve handling, and the unit is easy to clean between uses.

Crafted for efficiency, this wastebasket fits under standard desk heights even when the lid is extended, making it convenient for quick disposal without interfering with workspace illumination or chair range. The rectangular prism shape helps maximize usable interior volume while minimizing footprint, and it pairs with Rubbermaid’s compatible lid (model 306600) to offer a modest, enclosed option when a lid is desirable. Construction and geometry are chosen to facilitate wipe-down cleaning and reduce snag points in busy office or facility settings.

Typical use scenarios include desk-side trash collection in offices, breakrooms, clinics, or light-duty environments where under-desk clearance is important. Specifications indicate dimensions of approximately 14 3/8 inches wide, 10 1/4 inches deep, and 15 inches high, which align with common under-desk layouts. This package is listed as a single wastebasket per package, designed for straightforward replacement or routine maintenance as part of a janitorial supply kit.
