The Rubbermaid Commercial Deskside Plastic Wastebasket is a compact, space-efficient trash receptacle designed for under-desk placement in busy work areas. With a 7-gallon capacity, it provides a practical solution for personal workspace waste while keeping disposal within easy reach. The rectangular prism shape and beige color help it blend into most office environments without drawing attention, while its all-plastic construction avoids metal-related concerns like chipping, rust, or denting. Built-in strength is enhanced by rolled rims, which add rigidity to the opening and support reduced edge wear over time. The unit is easy to clean, supporting quick maintenance in high-traffic settings or areas where cleanup frequency is important.
This wastebasket is designed to fit under standard desk heights, even when a lid is extended for swing-top models, making it a versatile choice for areas that require a discreet, accessible disposal option. The product’s dimensions—approximately 14 3/8 inches wide, 10 1/4 inches deep, and 15 inches high—are sized to occupy a minimal footprint while still accommodating typical office waste. It is sold as a single unit and pairs with Rubbermaid Commercial lid options such as the related 306600 lid when a swing-top or closed-top configuration is desired. This makes it suitable for deskside trash collection, break-room spaces, and other workstations where convenient waste disposal supports efficient, tidy operations.
