COSCO COS091460 Jiffi-Cutter Compact Utility Knife with Retractable Blade is a compact handheld cutting tool designed for controlled, push-cut tasks where blade retractability enhances safety during non-use moments. The knife features a fully retractable blade housed within a protective sheath, allowing the user to slide the blade back when not actively cutting. Each unit is supplied with a replacement blade, contributing to a straightforward maintenance cycle for routine cutting jobs.
Constructed with a chrome-colored handle that measures approximately 3 inches in length, this knife emphasizes portability and ease of handling. The retractable blade configuration supports safer storage and transport, reducing the likelihood of accidental contact when the cutter is not engaged in cutting. The Jiffi-Cutter is packaged as a box containing 12 individual cutters, making it suitable for facility maintenance environments where multiple workstations or tool cribs require quick, standardized cutting tools.
This product is appropriate for light-duty trimming and opening tasks commonly encountered in facility maintenance, packaging, and crafts. Its compact form factor is advantageous in tight spaces or when users need a tool that can be carried easily in a pocket or tool belt. For optimal performance, users should ensure the blade is fully retracted after use and replace the blade according to internal maintenance practices. The inclusion of one blade per cutter and a box-pack arrangement supports inventory planning and restocking in maintenance operations.
