The Boardwalk BWK188 Extra Heavy-Duty Scour Pad is designed for aggressive cleaning tasks in commercial kitchens and maintenance settings. Sized at 3 1/2 inches by 5 inches, this resin-based pad features a dark blue color that helps identify its heavy-duty role while resisting wear during tough scouring jobs. It serves as a robust alternative to traditional stainless steel scrubbers, offering an option for removing heavy encrustations from pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment without introducing metal contact that can scratch surfaces.
Constructed to handle grimy, build-up-heavy environments, the pad is built for repeated use in environments where high-traffic cleaning is common. The resin formulation supports effective abrasion against baked-on residues while maintaining flexibility to reach curved surfaces and tight corners found in commercial cookware and equipment. Users who manage maintenance gear and kitchen fleets may appreciate its ability to promptly tackle stubborn grime while reducing the risk of metallic shedding that can contaminate food-contact surfaces.
This pad is packaged in cases containing 20 pads, aligning with typical bulk stocking for janitorial and facilities workflows. Its non-metallic composition makes it suitable for equipment that cannot tolerate metal scourers. When selecting this pad, consider the target cleaning tasks, surface sensitivity, and the need for repeated replacements in busy kitchens or maintenance bays. Proper handling and disposal guidelines should follow standard sanitation practices for cleaning tools used with heavy encrustations.
