The Unger UNGEZ400 Opti-Loc Aluminum Extension Pole is a 13-foot, two-section tool handle designed for janitorial and facility-cleaning applications. Constructed from anodized extruded drawn aluminum with a nylon locking collar, the pole provides a sturdy yet lightweight option for reaching high areas. Its snap-in threaded locking cone allows for quick tool changes, even when the pole is wet, and it accepts tools with either tapered or threaded sockets, enhancing versatility across a range of cleaning attachments. An ergonomically shaped nylon handle grip supports comfortable use during extended tasks, while the sectional design facilitates convenient carrying and storage when the pole is not in use.
In practice, the Opti-Loc system enables reliable attachment and removal of compatible tools without sacrificing balance or control. The combination of aluminum construction and the locking mechanism helps maintain rigidity during use, which is important for precision cleaning and, for example, window or ceiling-area access. The pole is color-coded in green and silver, with a length specification of 13 feet, suitable for reaching overhead surfaces from ground level or standard ladders in typical facility environments. For procurement and inventory planning, note that each pole is sold individually and that cases can be organized with a case quantity of 10 per carton.
