The Litetronics VTCS4 is a 4-foot LED vapor-tight strip light designed for harsh, damp environments where reliability and easy installation matter. This C-Series fixture delivers strong output in a slim, compact form factor that measures just 3.5 inches wide, making it suitable for tight ceiling or wall spaces. It can be surface mounted, suspended, or connected directly to 1/2-inch NPT conduit, with the ability to daisy-chain multiple units from a single power source to cover larger areas efficiently. Built to withstand challenging conditions, the IP67 and IK10 ratings indicate robust protection against moisture, dust, and impact in demanding settings. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel mounting hardware further supports long-term service in tough environments.
The VTCS4 operates across a wide voltage range (120–277 V) and offers multiple color temperature options (3500K, 4000K, 5000K) with a 110-degree beam angle. It is dimmable and achieves a high lumen output for its class, with lumen packages spanning 4,420 to 5,850 depending on configuration, and a quoted efficiency around 130 lumens per watt. The luminaire targets a durable, high-visibility lighting solution, backed by a 5-year warranty and a long rated life of approximately 50,000 hours. While it is not listed as suitable for damp locations in all configurations, the product’s vapor-tight rating makes it a strong candidate for environments where moisture, vapors, or dust are present.
This fixture is positioned for industrial applications such as service bays, storage rooms, washdown areas, and other interiors where cleanable, consistently bright illumination is needed without complex fixture shape. When planning installations, consider the fixture’s compatibility with surface or suspended mounting, its voltage requirements, and the potential for daisy-chaining to minimize wiring runs. Regular maintenance should follow standard LED fixture practices, including periodic cleaning of lenses and checking mounting hardware for corrosion resistance over time.
