The Green Creative 34886 LED T8 tube is a single-ended, ballast-bypass replacement designed to fit standard 3-foot T8 luminaires. It delivers 1500 lumens at 12 watts with a warm 3000 K color temperature, providing a mid-range white light suitable for general applications where fluorescent replacement is desired without ballast involvement. The lamp is damp-location rated and DLC-listed, helping facilities qualify for utility rebates and ensuring suitability for both indoors and certain semi-exposed environments.
Constructed with an opaque glass body, the tube minimizes glare for more comfortable ambient lighting while maintaining a low-profile 35.75-inch length and a 1.12-inch diameter. The design supports non-shunted lamp holders and requires non-shunted (single-ended) wiring compatible with Type B ballast bypass installations. The product is UL-listed and carries a 5-year warranty, reflecting Green Creative’s confidence in long-term performance under standard operating conditions.case counts of 25 per case support ok-to-order quantities for project or facility-wide upgrades.
This model is intended for retrofits where ballast removal is part of the upgrade, aligning with energy-saving goals without changing the fixture or wiring topology beyond the ballast bypass. When planning a retrofit, verify fixture compatibility with non-shunted lampholders and ensure the selected LED tube’s operating length, ballast bypass requirements, and mounting method align with the existing T8 fixture and ceiling clearance.
