The FME Lighting Galaxy LED Flood Light model FME-GAX-G-8-A-I-P-ND provides a rugged illumination solution designed for hazardous locations, including areas with flammable vapors, gases, or combustible dusts as defined by applicable safety standards. With an 80-watt output and a high-efficiency rating of 160 lumens per watt, it delivers approximately 8,100 delivered lumens at a color temperature of 4000K, producing bright, neutral white light suitable for industrial spaces. The fixture is specified to operate over a wide voltage range (120–277V) and is available in non-dimming configurations, offering straightforward installation and reliable performance in demanding environments. The Galaxy series emphasizes durability and safety in harsh settings, featuring an IP66 enclosure and IK10 impact protection to resist dust ingress and physical impacts, alongside a tempered glass lens for added durability.
Designed for flexible mounting, an adjustable U-bracket and pendant mounting option are standard or readily accommodated, which helps operators align the beam to target zones without needing additional accessories. The luminaire’s construction is intended to withstand low to moderately extreme temperatures, as indicated by the -40°C to 40°C operating range, making it suitable for outdoor or unconditioned industrial spaces where ambient conditions vary. For maintenance and compatibility, the unit is UL listed, supports a non-dimming drive signal, and is offered in a package size of one fixture per carton, simplifying stocking and installation plans. While the data notes emergency battery backup as an available option, current product details provided do not specify that feature as included, so buyers should confirm configuration when ordering.
