The FME Lighting Galaxy LED Flood Light provides a high-output, durable lighting solution designed for hazardous locations. This 200W luminaire delivers about 28,000 lumens with a 4000K color temperature and a 120-degree beam angle, offering bright, widespread illumination suitable for demanding industrial environments. It is built to operate across a wide voltage range (100–277V) and supports dimming, enabling flexible light control to match changing tasks or ambient conditions. The Galaxy series is constructed for challenging settings and features an IP66 and IK10 rating, indicating strong protection against dust, water ingress, and impact damage, which is important for suspended or outdoor-use applications near industrial processes.
Key design features include a tempered glass lens and a rugged housing that aligns with the needs of facilities exposed to harsh vapors, gases, or combustible dusts as defined by relevant safety standards. The luminaire offers multiple installation options with an adjustable U-bracket and pendant mounting as standard, allowing installation in ceilings, walls, or other mounting points to optimize light distribution. The unit is listed for safe operation in hazardous locations and provides a dimmable option to tailor illumination levels; an emergency battery backup variant is available for critical areas where lighting must remain active during power interruptions.
This fixture is suitable for general, high-output illumination in manufacturing floors, processing plants, or other industrial spaces where durability and reliability are essential. When planning lighting, consider the 200W draw, 28,000 lumens output, and 4000K color rendering to ensure adequate visibility and color accuracy for tasks performed in the space. The packaging is listed as per-unit (Each), and the product supports standard facility electrical systems within its wide voltage range. Maintenance considerations center on periodic checks of the lens and mounting hardware to preserve light output and mounting stability over time.
