The Janico 4436 Washable Looped Dust Mop is a 5-inch by 36-inch mop head designed for dusting and keeping hardwood floors, tile, and other smooth surfaces free of debris. It features tightly twisted, pre-laundered cotton yarns that enhance performance by preserving lightweight, absorbent fibers that trap dust and fine particles. The mop head is constructed with a special backing to fit standard mop hardware, enabling easy attachment to compatible frames and handles. Note that the handle and frame are sold separately, and the mop attaches to the frame with corrosion-free snaps for straightforward on/off use.
This mop is designed for reuse—you can launder it after use to restore its cleaning effectiveness and extend its service life. Its white cotton fibers offer visibility for tracked dust during cleaning tasks, which can help ensure more thorough dusting of floors and other flat surfaces. The package is listed as an individual unit, with case quantities typically 12 per case, making it suitable for facility maintenance programs that stock commonly used mop heads alongside compatible frames and handles.
When selecting this mop, confirm compatibility with your existing frame model (the note specifies use with the 4536 frame and 4360 handle) and be prepared to pair it with corrosion-resistant snaps for dependable attachment. Regular washing as part of routine maintenance helps maintain loop integrity and cleaning performance over time. This product is categorized for janitorial applications and is best suited for dry dusting tasks on smooth, hard floor surfaces.
