The DPI TB-5 Plastic Traffic Barrier is a lightweight, versatile barricade designed to help you section off areas, guide traffic, or create temporary dividers on jobsites, events, and facilities. Constructed from durable plastic, these barriers are shipped empty for easy transport and can be filled with sand or water to add stability when in use. When empty, they are easy to move between locations, and any contents can be drained prior to relocation for convenience. Interlocking joints allow multiple units to be connected quickly, enabling scalable barriers to fit spaces of varying lengths.
Key features include a 24-inch height and a 62 1/4-inch length per unit, with a 16-inch width, all in a bright green color. The green TB-5G model is designed for color-coded visibility that can help with crowd control, lane delineation, and site demarcation, especially in areas with multiple barricade types. The setup requires no tools, simplifying rapid deployment, and the contents can be drained before movement to reduce weight and facilitate repositioning. These attributes support temporary containment, traffic guidance, and crowd management in settings ranging from construction sites to outdoor events.
Users should consider practical aspects such as the need to fill the barricades for stability and the possibility of interconnecting several units for longer barriers. The product is sized and packaged for individual handling, and the fill material (sand or water) is chosen based on desired ballast and local conditions. As always, verify site requirements and local regulations when planning uses that involve traffic or pedestrian control, and ensure proper drainage and handling when draining filled barriers before relocation.
