The IMP102-20 Thumb Protector is a pull-on, leather shield designed to slip over the tip of the thumb for abrasion and cut protection in tasks that expose the thumb to blunt impacts or sharp edges. A VEP pad is integrated to provide targeted pressure point protection, helping reduce fatigue and discomfort during repetitive or precision work.
Constructed as a slip-on accessory, this thumb protector comes in a yellow and black color scheme for easy visibility in the workplace. The product is packaged as a bag containing 12 units, making it convenient for stocking and crew-based use. The pull-on design eliminates the need for straps or buckles, enabling quick donning and removal when rapid glove changes are required or when finger dexterity must be preserved.
Ideal use cases include material handling, metalworking, and generalist tasks where the thumb is at risk of abrasion or minor lacerations. When selecting size and fit, verify that the protector slips comfortably over the fingertip and remains in place during manual tasks. Since the available data does not specify material composition beyond leather and the included VEP pad, refer to internal safety data or manufacturer guidance for compatibility with other PPE or gloves and for maintenance recommendations. The packaging indicates a bag quantity of 12 per package, which supports bulk usage or team-wide distribution.
