The DPI CP-12 12" Column Protector is a rugged, impact-absorbing shield designed to guard columns, posts, and nearby structures from vehicle and equipment contact. Crafted from high-density polyethylene, this blow-molded protector is rustproof and suitable for demanding facility environments where metal columns are at risk of denting or damage. The CP-12 features a round profile that helps distribute impact over a broader area, reducing concentrated forces on the protected surface.
Construction and installation are straightforward: two halves come together around a 12" support and are secured with wing nuts, eliminating the need for special tools. This simple, tool-free assembly speeds up deployment and minimizes downtime during facility modifications or maintenance cycles. The protector is available in a bright yellow color to enhance visibility in busy industrial spaces, contributing to safer work environments by alerting operators to column locations.
Ideal for protecting round or square supports up to 12 inches in diameter, the CP-12 matches standard column dimensions commonly found in warehouses, manufacturing floors, and loading areas. Each unit is packaged as a single protector, ready for quick installation on site. When selecting a column protector, consider the column diameter, mounting surface, and the required level of visibility to ensure compatible fit and effective protection over time.
