The Pyramex Safety BL011 Non-Rated Black Balaclava is a versatile cold-weather hood designed to protect the head, face, and neck from cold, wind, dust, and UV exposure while maintaining breathability. Its hinge design allows for multiple wearing configurations—from a full face mask to a neck gaiter—so you can adapt coverage as conditions change. The balaclava is crafted from a self-extinguishing thermal fleece and mesh material, providing warmth with airflow through mesh panels that help reduce condensation on eyewear during active tasks.
Constructed for practical, real-world use, this balaclava accommodates a range of outdoor and indoor activities, including winter sports, ATV riding, hunting, construction, freezer and warehouse workwear. One size fits most wearers, offering a simple, universal fit for diverse users. The design is noted as compatible for use under ANSI/ISEA compliant Pyramex hard hats (except for the SL Sleek Shell series), allowing it to be worn in environments requiring head protection without removing facial coverage. The BL011’s material composition is listed as polyester mesh, and its color is black, with packaging specified as an individual item. These details help buyers assess suitability for warmth, breathability, and layering with protective headgear in work settings.
When selecting this balaclava, consider its non-rated status for safety standards and its single-layer, mesh-enhanced warmth. It’s important to verify compatible hard hat models if you plan to wear it under safety equipment, and to confirm fit and layering needs for your specific environment. This product is sold as an individual item, with a package quantity noted as 100 per case, which is relevant for bulk purchasing and inventory planning.
