The Better Brush 780118 is a heavy-duty abrasive brush designed for aggressive surface cleaning tasks on unsealed concrete. With purple, extra-stiff bristles measuring .065 inches and 46-grit abrasive material, this brush delivers substantial scrubbing action to tackle heavy dirt, grease, and compacted soils. The 1-3/4 inch trim helps concentrate abrasion where it’s most needed, making it more aggressive than standard black pads while requiring wet use to prevent dust and reduce wear.
Constructed for durability in demanding janitorial and floor-care environments, this 18 inch brush is intended for wet operations and is available in multiple sizes (10 inches through 21 inches) to fit compatible equipment or applicators. Its packaging is a single-piece unit, suitable for scenarios that call for robust, continuous scrubbing power on tough, unsealed concrete surfaces.
When selecting and using this brush, consider that its abrasive action is intended for heavy-duty stripping or scrubbing, so it’s important to maintain appropriate wetting during operation to optimize performance and prolong life. Ensure you’re matching the size to your equipment and follow wet-use guidelines to achieve the best results while minimizing wear and tear on the pad and underlying floor surface.
