Better Brush 780116 Abrasive 46 Grit Brushes - 16"

The Better Brush 780116 is a heavy-duty abrasive brush designed for aggressive surface prep on unsealed concrete. This 16" purple brush features extra-stiff bristles with a 0.065 inch diameter and a 46-grit abrasive, trimmed to 1-3/4 inches. The combination provides a robust scrubbing action intended to remove heavy dirt, grease, and compacted soils, offering a more aggressive alternative to standard black pads. It is specified for wet use to ensure effective abrasive action and bristle longevity on demanding floor prep tasks.

Constructed to handle rigorous cleaning situations, this brush emphasizes durability and market-appropriate performance for janitorial and facility maintenance operations that require substantial material removal. Its abrasive composition is tailored for heavy-duty stripping and scrubbing on concrete surfaces that are unsealed, making it suitable for facilities seeking aggressive, but controlled, surface refinement. As a single unit per package, it aligns with standard 16" floor maintenance tooling and compatible equipment that accepts standard abrasive brush attachments, helping maintenance teams plan budgets and inventory around compatible sizes and grit profiles.

When selecting compatible applications, users should anticipate the need for wet operation and direct contact with concrete substrates. The 16" size and purple 46-grit profile should be considered alongside other pad and brush options to achieve desired material removal rates while preserving substrate integrity. This item is cataloged under janitorial supplies and is available in sizes ranging from 10" to 21", allowing teams to pair it with appropriate floor machines or attachments that accept 16" abrasive brushes. Proper maintenance of the brush and adherence to wet-use guidelines will help ensure consistent performance across cleaning cycles.
