The Better Brush 690112 Tampico Polishing Rotary Brush is designed for polishing smooth, waxed floor surfaces to a high shine. Its Tampico fiber construction offers a softer, less aggressive option for finishing work, making it suitable for maintenance tasks on finished floors where a gentler touch is preferred. The brush is sized at 12 inches in diameter with a 1-3/4 inch trim length, and it is intended to replace white polishing pads in appropriate applications by delivering a comparable finish with a rotary machine.
Construction-wise, this 12" Tampico brush emphasizes a balance between polish and care, providing minimal aggressiveness compared with harsher fibers. While Tampico fibers are known for a softer performance, users should be aware that brush life may be shorter than with soft nylon or soft poly alternatives. This brush is offered in standard sizing from 10" to 21", allowing it to fit a range of rotary machines common in janitorial settings. For best results, use on smooth, coated floors and avoid applications on rough or uncoated surfaces where the fiber’s softer aggressiveness may be insufficient for prep tasks.
In practice, this product supports routine polishing workflows where a high-gloss finish on properly prepared floors is desired. It is packaged as a single unit (Each) for straightforward ordering, with the manufacturer part number BTB690112 maintained for traceability. Given its specific material and size, verify your machine compatibility and surface condition prior to use to ensure the Tampico brush delivers the intended finish on your floor maintenance program.
