The Draeger CH24101 is a carbon detector tube designed for quick, on-the-spot gas monitoring. Packaged as a box of 10 tubes, this device is a simple, portable solution for identifying carbon-containing vapors in the field without the need for calibration or complex equipment.
Each CH24101 tube uses glass construction with a break-off tip, enabling a straightforward single-use test. Draeger emphasizes hassle-free operation: there is no calibration, lubrication, or special maintenance required, and the tubes are ready to use as needed. This lineage reflects Draeger’s long-standing history in gas detection technology, and the product is marketed as part of a broad range of Draeger tubes capable of detecting a wide array of gases and vapors.
Users can apply these tubes to quick screening tasks where a portable, inexpensive detector is advantageous. Because the product is a pre-tube, it is suitable for environments where rapid, qualitative confirmation of carbon-related vapors is sufficient. The package size indicates the batch is intended for multiple tests or field use, with each box containing 10 tubes. It is important to handle and store the tubes according to standard safety practices for gas detection media. The exact gas scope is indicated by the label carbon pre-tube, and users should select this option when carbon-containing vapors are the target of the test.
