The UUP-2076 coil pad is a purpose-built containment platform designed to support and protect metal coils during storage and transport. Crafted from urethane, it combines abrasion resistance with firm load-bearing capability to help prevent floor damage and coil surface wear. The pad’s distinctive 20' width and 76' length orientation follows a V-shaped layout, offering a defined cradle that aligns with coil dimensions for stable placement.
Key features include the pad’s claimed oil containment capability, indicating that any oil released from the coil is contained within the pad rather than leaking to the supporting surface. This makes it suitable for environments where oil leakage control is a priority. The pad is available in multiple color options (Yellow, Red, Orange) to aid visual differentiation in busy facilities. The configuration is described as suitable for coils up to 72' long, providing a practical size guidance for matching with coil inventories.
For practical use, select the color that aligns with your shop’s color-coding or safety practices, and verify that the coil length does not exceed the 76' pad length. The package size is listed as each unit, which means individual pads are sold individually, allowing you to deploy only what you need for a given storage or transport scenario. When installing, ensure the pad sits flat on the floor to maintain containment integrity and to avoid edge lifting that could compromise the containment claim.
