MAG FLOMAG50P MAG Magnesium Chloride Pellets Ice/Dust Control, 50 lb Bags, 48 Bags/Pallet

MAG FLOMAG50P MAG Magnesium Chloride Pellets Ice/Dust Control comes in 50 lb bags, with 48 bags per pallet, designed to address indoor riding dust and provide ice-melting capability. The product is described as being less corrosive to metal surfaces, generating less concrete spalling, and presenting lower toxicity and environmental impact compared to alternative dust-control materials. The magnesium chloride formulation melts ice effectively at low temperatures, including conditions as low as -13 degrees, and is positioned as an economical option for large-scale dust suppression on unpaved or frequently dusty surfaces such as dirt and gravel areas, parking lots, driveways, tennis courts, and similar play or work surfaces. The supplier emphasizes a careful, conservative application approach for indoor rings to achieve consistent footing with gradual correction over time and notes that maintaining moisture is detrimental to the product’s function, as watering can rinse the material from the surface into the subsurface, undermining its performance.

The packaging arrangement is standard palletized freight, with each pallet containing 48 bags, each bag weighing 50 pounds. The vendor’s guidance includes planning for ring size and maintenance stock, commonly suggesting 2–4 pallets per typical ring and an additional pallet for ongoing upkeep throughout the year. This product is categorized under Janitorial and lists magnesium chloride as its active ingredient. For shipping quotes, customers are prompted to add the item to their quote flow. While the description provides insight into application philosophy and operational considerations, it does not specify certifications, country of origin, warranty terms, or exact material compositions beyond the base ingredient.
