The Pyramex Safety HPSHADE40 is an adjustable neck shade designed to attach to the exterior of cap-style and full-brim hard hats, providing sun protection for the face and neck in environments with limited shade. Its high-visibility orange color helps maintain visibility on active job sites while offering a lightweight option to reduce sun exposure during outdoor tasks.
Constructed from a soft, lightweight material, this shade is intended to be worn over hard hats to block direct sunlight from the wearer’s face and neck. The product sheet (spec sheet) is available for more details, and the unit is sold as an individual piece with packaging that accommodates single- or bulk-order configurations, depending on the supplier’s stocking. The design is shown paired with Ridgeline hard hats in promotional imagery, though Ridgeline hats are sold separately, so buyers should verify compatibility with their specific cap-style or full-brim helmet model.
Recommended use cases include outdoor construction, roofing, surveying, and other fieldwork where shade is scarce and sun exposure is a concern. When selecting this accessory, verify that your hat type and brim dimensions allow secure attachment and that the shade remains positioned to avoid interference with other PPE or headgear. The specifications indicate a non-CSA and non-CE status, with a packaging size of Each and a case quantity of 50, which is useful for planning procurement and storage considerations.
