The Cordova CBAN100 Cooling Bandana, Cold Snap, is a head-wearing cooling accessory designed to help manage heat exposure during demanding tasks. It combines a 100% cotton exterior with an inner layer that holds water-activated polymer cooling beads, delivering an evaporative cooling effect when soaked, wrung, and snapped to activate. Once in use, the bandana stays cool for hours, aiding comfort in hot environments by reducing heat stress through a simple, repeatable activation process. When it begins to dry, it can be re-wetted and reused, supporting repeated cooling cycles without replacement materials.
Construction details emphasize a cotton exterior for softness and natural feel, paired with a cooling mechanism that leverages evaporation to sustain cooling performance. The design is intended to be worn around the head, offering hands-free cooling that can be integrated into daily PPE routines for workers operating in warm conditions. The product is packaged for professional procurement with a case quantity listed and is available in a blue color option. Maintenance is straightforward, as the bandana is machine- or hand-washable and air-dries, enabling easy cleaning between shifts.
Typical use scenarios include outdoor or poorly ventilated work settings where heat stress is a risk, as well as any task requiring temporary personal cooling without specialized equipment. Practical considerations include ensuring the bandana is fully wet and activated before use, re-wetting as needed once it dries, and following the recommended washing and drying instructions to preserve material integrity. The packaging specifies a case quantity of 300 per case, with each unit sold individually, supporting bulk procurement for facilities or crews that require multiple cooling options.
