The PIP 10-KS Kut Gard 2-Ply Kevlar Sleeve is designed to offer robust cut protection for the arms during tasks that involve handling large objects or reaching into confined spaces. The sleeve’s Kevlar content delivers notable cut resistance and heat resistance at the wrist and forearm, while the seamless knit construction provides flexibility and comfort for extended wear. The 2-ply design adds an extra layer of protection without sacrificing dexterity, making it suitable for demanding applications where both protection and maneuverability are needed.
This yellow sleeve is part of the Kut Gard line and integrates Kevlar as its lining to enhance protection in environments such as glass handling, metal stamping, sheet metal work, automotive tasks, and food processing where incidental contact with sharp edges or hot surfaces may occur. The ergonomic knit supports a close fit to minimize snagging on machinery, and the seamless construction helps reduce irritation on the skin during prolonged use. Consider sizing and fit when selecting this sleeve to ensure the intended level of protection remains effective while maintaining comfortable mobility.
For practical use, verify that the sleeve is worn with compatible PPE pieces and that it covers the forearm and wrist adequately for the task at hand. The product is packaged per each unit, with a case quantity of 144 per case, aiding in stocking for job sites or shop floors where multiple workers require protection at once. Actual performance depends on proper fit, application, and adherence to safety protocols in your facility.
